Canada's largest cuckoo clock. The Bavarian City of the Rockies, is also a city of festivals - a never-ending celebration of sight and sound. Kimberley’s energy emanates from the Platzl, an esplanade punctuated with picturesque shops, hanging baskets and hand-painted fire hydrants.

A forest-trimmed path leads from the Platzl to the aromatically captivating cominco gardens. Scenic biking and hiking paths thread through the Kimberley Nature Park.

The Mark Creek Nature Trail leads to Marysville Falls and a 100 ft. cascade of water over rocks worn smooth. At the Kimberley Alpine Resort, a 3,500 ft. alpine slide, amusement park and mini-golf are open for families all summer long.

In addition to deluxe condos, fine hotels and charming Bed and Breakfasts, Kimberley’s Happy Hans Riverside RV Resort has 140 sites. Tour the grounds on the Bavarian City Mining Railway, an authentic mine train.

Kimberley boasts two fine golf courses, Trickle Creek located halfway up the road to the ski resort, has a deserved reputation as a great championship course. Carved out of the forest, this course captures the true essence of mountain golf.

The Kimberley Golf Club has been established since 1924 and is a mature course etched along the banks of the St. Mary’s River. Green fee play is welcomed here.
