The springs rise from ground waters that travel deep into
the earth returning to the surface steaming and loaded with natural minerals. The
waters contain a therapeutic mix of sulphate, calcium, bicarbonate, silica, magnesium and
other minerals. Average water temperature is 39°C (103°F) year-round.
Radium Hot Springs offer a mountain
hideaway destination. Visitors to the hot springs may enjoy
the extensive day spa which offers therapeutic and
relaxation massage, and health-oriented treatments. The spa
facilities include a jetted plunge pool, steam room and spacious lounge
area.
