Project - 2008 Individual Snowsport Shows
Project Description: Individual
Partner booth presence at both short and long-haul ski & snowboard
shows.
Rationale: Cost effective exposure
for primary markets; targeted.
Target Markets: Regional skiers
and snowboarders.
Objective: To distribute
promotional material to the enthusiast skiers/boarders. Discuss on a personal level, the new
facilities, upgrades and events for the upcoming season.

Gross Budget: $105,000
Eligible Partners:
Ski Resorts; Heli/Cat Operators; Backcountry Ski Operators; Nordic Ski
Operators; Consortiums/DMOs; Ski Packagers (Accommodation Properties,
Central Reservations, Property Management)
Maximum
Cost-Sharing: One booth (1 - 10x10 or 1 - 8x10) at these short-haul shows (Calgary*, Edmonton, Portland, Seattle,
Spokane & Vancouver) for all eligible Partners.
*Calgary Snow Show - Available to
Ski Packagers
first (after cut-date, July 16th, open to all Snowsport Partners).
And, one booth (1 -
10x10 or 1 - 8x10) at these long-haul shows (Boston, Chicago,
Denver, Minneapolis,
San Jose & Toronto)
for Ski Resorts, Snowcat and Heli Ski Operators
only.
*Long-haul Shows -
Available to Community DMO's (as well) if they are representing the Ski Resort for
their community.
