Over 100 years ago, gold was discovered on Red Mountain and the Le Roi Mine was constructed.  The most famous of Rossland’s Gold Mines is yours to explore from mid-May to mid-September, daily 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.  Try your luck at gold panning or visit the Tea Room Restaurant.   For more information please link: Rossland Historical Museum
