The beautifully restored CPR locomotive 'Mikado'

Discover Canada's history and railway heritage!  Learn about the building of the railway, the workers, involved, the final days of construction and present day operation.

The Museum houses the beautifully restored CPR locomotive #5468.  This is one of the larger steam engines ever used on CPR lines.  Meet the men who lived and worked on the rails.

Responsible for the restoration/maintenance, Railway Engineers volunteer time to talk about their experiences.

Sit down at the throttle of the New Diesel Locomotive Simulator.  Tour CPR Business Car #4 and out in the "Yard", find more original rolling stock - caboose, snow plow, flange car and maintenance equipment.

There is a Museum Gift Shop well stocked with clothing, prints, postcards and other memorabilia.  The Book Store has one of the largest selection of rail related books in the Country.
