Kootenay River Runners introduced rafting to the area in 1976 and
are very proud to have been rafting the longest in the area.
They are based in Radium Hot Springs and Golden, and offer
transportation out of Banff.
Exciting whitewater trips are run on the Kicking Horse River, fun
and scenic family rafting takes place on the Kootenay River and,
nature and wildlife viewing floats are on the Columbia River.
Kootenay River Runner's full day trips, which include a delicious
wilderness lunch, have become a well known feature. Half day
trips are also offered, and all necessary gear is provided.
The season runs from mid-May to the end of September.
